Adult Summer Series: 4-day Intensive with Keith Johnstone (#1283)

Orientation: 5:30pm-6:30pm Wednesday, August 4
Class Time/Dates: 10am-6pm on Thursday-Sunday, August 5-8

Schedule: 1 hour orientation. 4 one day sessions.
Class size: 24 students maximum
Class length: 8 hours (28 hours total)

Join legendary improv innovator Keith Johnstone, author of Impro and Improv for Storytellers and creator of Theatresports, Micetro, Gorilla Theatre, Life Game, and other performance formats, in this four-day improv exploration. 

Each day starts off with a continental breakfast and then moves to a 5-hour session with Johnstone.  The day finishes off with a two-hour on-your-feet play session with William Hall and Rebecca Stockley, both longtime students, colleagues and friends of Johnstone's and BATS Improv coaches. 

Topics include story, status, spontaneity, acting, and comedy (but each day is influenced by student interests, so bring your questions.) This intensive is open to improvisers of all experience levels. 28 hours of total instruction.

BATS Improv Class Refund Policy

Cancellation of Summer Intensives and Youth and Teen Camps more than two weeks before the start of the class results in a refund or credit minus a deposit equal to 20% of the tuition. Tuition is non-refundable beginning two weeks before the start of the class.
